I had a fantastic time on the Tzfat shabbaton with the Jerusalem Soul Centre. The programming was engaging, the food and hospitality was great, and the neshama that Rabbi Ezra and his group provided was unforgettable. Some of my highlights were having kaballat shabbat on the roof of our guesthouse, overlooking the beautiful mountain sunset, sharing meals and shirim with the group, engaging in interesting discussions with my fellow group members about judaism and spirituality, and of course – meeting people from all walks of life as part of the shabbaton. Thanks so much for all of your hard work putting this weekend together!”
“I’d never before been to Tzfat or attended a shabbaton, but my weekend with the Jerusalem Soul Center there was a really special experience. I thought the program was very well-organized and welcoming to all types of people from a range of religious backgrounds and ages. The Livnot campus was absolutely exquisite, and the people there were really friendly, making us feel immediately comfortable. I had a wonderful time and would recommend both this program and the Jerusalem Soul Center to anyone who wants to have a very special Shabbat, to learn more about Judaism, or to just get away for the weekend!”
“Hey Ezra and Malcha Hannah,
Thank you for a great weekend, and the warm welcome from you both. I had an amazing time, it was so nice to be with people who were open to questions and bringing together all forms of Judaism. Thanks to the weekend, I went out and got the book on Jewish meditation, so we will see where it leads!
Many thanks again.”
“The Tzfat shabbaton with the Jerusalem Soul Center was one of the best weekends I’ve had thus far during my semester abroad. It was so great to talk and laugh with Jews from all age groups from around the world while we hiked in the Gilboa. The Jerusalem Soul Center really brought people together who never would have met otherwise. I loved the tour of the old city, the history and myths that we heard were inspiring. Overall, the trip really gave me a sense of being uplifted.
I really felt connected to Judaism and have also realized a better sense of what it means to be Jewish.”
